Pick a pattern. Filter by category, or by whether the pattern can be cut through. Line work is score-ready as drawn; filled artwork can be engraved or cut.
Set the tile size. The tile size is the real width of one repeat on the material. Switch the units to millimetres or inches, and everything else, spacing and band width included, scales from the tile.
Choose the operation. Cut and score follow the path as a single line with no width. Engrave needs a closed area, so line work is outlined into a closed band at the width you set. Each layer of a multi-layer pattern gets its own operation.
Read the cut-safety note. Cuts as-is means the sheet stays in one piece. Needs a border means you must leave an uncut margin around it. Engrave only means pieces would drop out of the machine.
Size the sheet and trim. Trimming bakes the panel edge into the geometry, because laser software ignores SVG clipping. Add a border margin when the pattern needs a frame.
Export. Download the SVG, or open it in the Design Editor to combine it with text, shapes and your own artwork. Switch to print and cut for a coloured file with a CutContour outline.
